A number of public consultations and Questionnaires have been held periodically to inform and engage the wider public in the Neighbourhood Plan development process in order to establish the opinions of the residents on housing, green spaces, wildlife, biodiversity, amenities, heritage and conservation, transport, leisure opportunities, health and wellbeing, and flooding.

July 2014 - Initial questionnaire (51 responses)

March 2015 – Public Consultation (37 people attended) and Second Questionnaire (43 responses)

  • 07public consultationPublic Consultation was held in the Hampton Lucy Village Hall on Sunday 8th of March between 11am and 5pm for the community to put forward their ideas and aspirations for the future of the parish.
  • This included an elaborate display of photographs and maps of the area to encourage comments from the members of the parish using post notes and questionnaires. This was very successful in terms of responses (please see the evidence section).

Additionally displays of information and progress on the Neighbourhood Development Plan were created for the village polling day, summer festival in the Parish Field and regular updates were read out at the monthly Parish Council meetings as well as via the village website prior to a dedicated Neighbourhood Plan website being established in late 2016.
